MVMF Trustees were contacted by a supporter about Guildford Action’s tireless efforts in Guildford and the surrounding area to support those in need. In particular it works with those who have been excluded from society, in the hope of reintegrating them back into the community. Michael had always supported their work, particularly the Furniture Store! The MVMF donated an initial £500 to Guildford Action in 2008 and, impressed by their commitment, a further £2,000 in 2010 to be spent over a two year period to help with the charity’s running costs.
Guildford Action is a registered charity that has been working within the communities of Guildford and Waverley for 30 years. It was set up originally to support those who were unemployed in Guildford, but has evolved to include support for all those who are disadvantaged and in need within areas of Guildford and Waverley.
