Cranstoun City Roads is a residential detoxification and crisis intervention service for chaotic drug users whose lives are at risk. It is a unique model of treatment, delivering opportunity for the most vulnerable.
In 2011, the MVMF provided the funds to purchase a computer and software for the charity’s City Roads project. In doing so, the MVMF has given City Roads’ clients the opportunity to launch their own newsletter. The aim is to introduce these clients to a powerful way of expressing themselves through either prose, poetry or other creative art – all of which are known to be vital in promoting growth, self-worth and recovery.
